Jamal Crawford couldn’t have made it any easier for Kevin Durant. The two NBA players played in Richard Sherman’s celebrity softball game in Seattle on July 19 and Durant may still be shaking his head after he missed catching a hit from Crawford. The Clippers reserve basically hit the ball directly to Durant, but unfortunately theOklahoma City Thunder forward completely missed the catch.

Durant told KIRO TV in Seattle that the sun got in his eyes, but he did redeem himself with another catch later on in the game.

This may seem like an easy cop-out, but Durant was wearing his hat backward so he had no protection from the sun’s bright glare. If only Durant opted for substance instead of style, he wouldn’t have missed such an easy catch.

Sometimes style isn’t everything.
