Spankjusbizness is an up and coming rapper from Staten Island, New York. In my opinion he is one of the most underrated artists out, and he is someone that you should be looking out for in the rap game. He has been on songs with Raekwon, he has been on 106 & Park, he has appeared on ā€˜Ebro in the AMā€™ on Hot 97, and much more. Ā He recently released a new song called ā€œLuciferā€ and it is getting great reviews from the streets and Hip Hop heads across the board. Recently Brandon Jarvis from Young n Dum and IBN talked to Spankjusbizness about his inspiration and working with Raekwon. Check out what he had to say below:

Ā Lucifer has only been out close to a week but it is receiving great feedback from the streets. What was your inspiration for the song?

ā€œFan of the joint wanted to get some points across to my fans to let them know whatā€™s currently going on in my career ā€¦ā€¦.hov inspired theĀ overallĀ conceptā€

You have quite a few really dope freestyles like the DJ Enuff Hotbox Freestyle or the Motto Freestyle. Out of all of the freestyles you have done which one do you consider your best and why?

ā€œAt the current moment I would have to say between the Djenuff hotbox freestyle and my B.E.T THE BACKROOM FREESTYLE
PLATFORM WISE AND THE WAY I DELIVERED THE BARS IS UNMATCHED I CAN PUT THOSE FREESTYLES UP AGAINST ANYBODY IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONE I WOULD SAY THE DJENUFF ONE BECAUSE IT WAS LONGER AND WITHOUT THE ENUFF ONE THERE MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN A B.E.T. Appearance so soon .ā€

What is it like to work with a legend in the game like Raekwon?

ā€œItā€™s like playing ball in the nba and then being on the same courts with the greats that you always looked up to like playing with Jordan or Larry bird one of the best to ever do itā€

Peter Rosenberg said in a Hot 97 feature that the first couple of songs you gave him to listen to werenā€™t at the production quality needed, but that he could hear that you had the talent. How much of a motivational factor was this?

ā€œIt wasnā€™t so much of a motivational factor it was a lesson learned ,it taught me I have to put more into my overall production . Rosenberg the homie tho, I respect his constructive criticism ,and his hiphop opinion .ā€

Do you feel that you are getting the respect from Staten Island that you deserve now?
ā€œYeah I can honestly say my city is starting to really get behind me salute to the whole islandā€

When can we expect some more new music from you?

ā€œAny day but #TheLayOut is on its way
Go follow everything @spankjusbizness
